Regionals

These wines represent vineyard and varietal combinations which are recognised for excellence from South Australia’s cool climate growing regions. We aim for nothing but the highest standards of quality for these small batch wines, drawing on our exceptional fruit sources and our highly skilled and experienced winemaking team.

Adelaide Hills ‘Woodside’ Gamay

Gamay originates from France in the region of Beaujolais but has recently found a welcoming home in the cool climes of the Adelaide Hills. Gamay is light in body with low tannins and high acidity, making it a marvel to pair with a variety of food.

Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir

Temperamental to grow and thin skinned, Pinot Noir thrives in the Adelaide Hills due to its high altitude and cold climate. The cool growing conditions suit the sensitive nature of the variety, producing wines which are pristine expressions of both variety and region.

Adelaide Hills ‘Lobethal’ Chardonnay

The Adelaide Hills is known for producing beautiful and delicate Chardonnays which are textured and lean but with the acid structure to age and evolve. These bright and stylish white wines rival the very best, with their fruit intensity and complexity.

Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc

Fruit is sourced from the cool climate of the Adelaide Hills, with the majority coming from the Macclesfield and Kuitpo sub districts. The region has gathered a strong reputation for making a balanced, evenly flavoured style of Sauvignon Blanc.

Clare Valley ‘Auburn’ Fiano

With its varied altitudes, diverse soils, warm summer days and cool nights, the Clare Valley provides idyllic growing conditions for Fiano. The resulting wine is balanced, textural and refreshing with natural acidity.

Clare Valley ‘Watervale’ Riesling

There is no better marriage than the combination of Riesling and the Watervale sub region of the Clare Valley. Fresh lemon-lime citrus, floral honeysuckle and a creamy richness. Delightful when young. Rewarding when cellared.

Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

The fruit for our Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from the Abbey and Williams vineyards in Southern Coonawarra. The cool climate and famous terra rossa over limestone soils provide ideal growing conditions for premium Cabernet Sauvignon.

Barossa Valley ‘Ebenezer’ Shiraz

The glaring exception to our Cool Climate fruit sourcing, the warm climate of the Ebenezer sub-district of the Barossa Valley with its generational family growers and abundance of old vines, provides the ideal climate for growing rich, soulful and captivating Shiraz.
