Barossa Valley Rose
The Tempranillo was harvested on the 1st of March, pressed off skins and cold settled. It was then racked to barrel for cool fermentation before blending with the Shiraz. The Shiraz was ‘saigneed’ off the Mother ferment on the 6th of March and fermented in stainless steel for 37 days before being blended with the Tempranillo. The blend was then matured in tank for 7 months before bottling.

Lovely and pale with an attractive salmon hue. The nose is gently creamy with strawberry nuances and a little faint spice. The palate is crisp and dry with texture coming from barrel fermentation in old oak. A very satisfying rosé. Drink now.

From the Small Parcels range comes a deceptive Rosé – it looks like those pale, delicate charmers from the Provence but it’s bone dry, long and crunchy. It’s made from Tempranillo and Shiraz grapes, it’s still bit shy and closed but it will be in fine form by summertime down under. A Rosé for grown-ups. BUY.
