GAR (Great Australian Red) Multi-Vintage

The expressive energy and richness of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz is recognised as Australia’s signature red and is widely accepted as having made the country’s greatest ever wine. In flagrant disregard of convention and rules which my late father would have loved, and in the spirit of quality without compromise, this limited release ‘Great Australian Red’ is a multi-vintage blend from only the very finest components at our disposal.

Fruit is sourced from two of the finest vineyards in South Australia to craft this wine. Cabernet Sauvignon from The Parker Estate Abbey vineyard in Coonawarra and Ancestor Vine Shiraz from the Hardy family’s Upper Tintara Vineyard in Blewitt Springs. The final components are then selected from six French Oak Barriques, all at varying levels of maturity and from multiple vintages (2023, 24 & 25) to build complexity and complete this special Great Australian Red blend.​
